Henry James Winch Remembered In Durham After Passing At Age 20 With Memorial Service Set For June 21, 2026
Henry James Winch, of Durham, North Carolina, passed away on June 15, 2026, at age 20.
Winch was born on November 21, 2005, and family, friends, and others who shared time and connection remember a life that touched many people.
Winch was preceded in death by grandfather Jack Henry Geers and aunts and uncles Thomas, Lorraine Geers, and Marc Geers.
Winch leaves parents John Winch and Jane Winch, grandparents Marcia Geers, Joe, Sandi Torres, and James Swick, uncle Scott Winch, aunt Susan Winch, and half-siblings Harley Joe Tribout and Kolby Tribout.
A memorial service is listed for Sunday, June 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Clements Funeral Chapel, 1105 Broad St, Durham, NC 27705.
The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations go to Urban Ministries of Durham, 410 Liberty Street, Durham, North Carolina, 27701.
