Waterford Community Remembers Robert Gonzales as Friends Support Kiyah’s Future Through a Newly Created Fund
Robert Gonzales, remembered as a warm and generous Waterfordian, has been honored through a newly created fund organized by Waterford Harbor Market.
On June 18, 2026, the fund reported $925 raised toward a $3K goal, with 17 donations listed and the campaign marked 0% complete.
Community members remembered Robert for volunteering at the Tugboat Roundup, adding spirit to Waterford’s Mardi Gras, cheering on the school track team, and bringing joy through humor and dancing.
The fund will benefit Kiyah’s future as they grow and pursue dreams and opportunities Robert encouraged with pride.
Friends said Robert made the community brighter by helping neighbors, sharing laughter, and meeting people with kindness.
