Matthew Ryan Wilson of Statesboro, Georgia, passed away on June 14, 2026, at the age of 38.
Matthew was born on November 28, 1987, and shared a life connected to family, friends, and community.

Matthew is survived by mother Jennifer Sheffield, stepfather Dewayne Sheffield, grandmother Jane Smith, and siblings Phillip Wilson, Valerie Longworth, Josh Wilson, Kimberly Wilson, Trisha Milton, DJ Sheffield, Josh Sheffield, Nikki Sheffield, Christy Powell, Amy Howell, Noah Sheffield, and Lilly Sheffield.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, 223 SW Broad St, Metter, GA 30439.
A funeral service will follow at the same location on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
