Lucas was born on November 9, 2011, and family, friends, and loved ones remember a life shared with care, connection, and lasting affection.
Lucas is survived by parents Galen Wheaton, Cassidy Doucet, Tracie Wheaton, and James Gonzales, siblings Wyatt, Anthony, Finlee, Weslyn, and Rosalie, and many grandparents, relatives, aunts, and uncles.
Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Sibille Funeral Home, 2309 George Dr, Opelousas, LA 70570.
A rosary will take place from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location, followed by a 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM service at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Port Barre, 407 Saizan Ave, Port Barre, LA 70577.
Burial is scheduled from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, 417 Saizan Ave, Port Barre, LA 70577.
